We live right next to Richmond, but I've never gone anywhere there. I've been wanting to go explore some of the places IN Richmond then my new friend Veronica had lived downtown before and took us to a few cool places.
Here's a viewpoint where you can see the whole city. That's the James River below us and this was a lookout point during the Civil War. 
We then went to Maymont which was really pretty. It's a large property that was donated and made public including a mansion you can tour, a petting zoo and lots of gardens you can walk through. I really need to get some more scenic-like pictures, and of those that go with us... but this is us outside the Japanese Garden.
We were taking a break before tackling the stairs behind us. Unfortunately for us, we had a large stroller which we then got to pull up the stairs. It was a fun adventure though.
