Christmas Spudnuts

Every Christmas Eve, (or Eve Eve as it happened this year), we make donuts to eat, and to give to the friends & neighbors...if there's enough after we're done taste-testing. Everyone was able to be there this year; Christianne & Adam & Wesley came over, Julie came down and brought her friend Virginia, Jeremy stayed for the fun, and Karie & Susie got home from work eventually. I was there too, and McKay and Mom & Dad, since we're mentioning everyone else now. Oh, and Tang brushed by every once in awhile, but I don't know how much cats enjoy making donuts.

Anyway, we started a little later than we would have liked, but it has to be done, and done well, so we did it.

Mom made the dough...

McKay made nametags... the most important task. well, besides making the dough I guess; that's kinda important too.

and Christy jumped in every picture so it looked like she was doing something.

Somehow we accumulated more people to give donuts to this year. I guess we made more friends since last year, but we opted for the double batch-- Twice the fun.

For the amateur spudnut makers in the crowd-here's what you're missing out on.

Phase 2 . . . . . . . Susie & Julie, the Cutters

Phase 3 . . . . . Jeremy & Ruthie, the Fryers
