Baby #3

Looks like boy #2 is coming to our place! We brought both the kids to the ultrasound this morning and it was really cute to see them understand a little more what is going on.  Carson was really just obsessed with the blue gel they put on your belly.  Best quote was, "What's the blue jelly?  It'd probably be good on a sandwich!"  We wanted to do something a little different this time, so we looked away during all the "gender shots" and had the ultrasound tech chose the appropriate boy or girl baby clipart picture that we brought (something that Carson could interpret) and put it in an envelope.  Then we let Carson open it and tell us.  (She also taped the ultrasound pic on the back, which is what you see)

We mentioned to Makenzie that she'd have another brother and she face-planted into the couch.  (I'm pretty sure it was an unrelated action, but it was perfect timing.) Anyway, we are excited! And if you've forgotten, he's due on January 16th!
