Whew! Transfers week…I've survived so far. Today's our last day so we're trying to get all the lose ends tied up. Sis. Clove's been here for 6 months so she wants to make sure she passes on all the information/knowledge/advice that I'm gonna need to know. We tried to stop by all the people this week that she knew more than I did and try and determine if I should keep working on them. There's a few things too that she's always wanted to do and pictures she wanted to take that we're trying to squeeze in. Yesterday I tried to make the visuals for all the lessons so I'll have some of my own. That takes too long…we got cabin fever after about an hour, but I now have a pretty cool "Road of Life" to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I still have to finish the cups demo for the Restoration, and make a Plan of Salvation. (Don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about…but they help get the point of the lessons across) Maybe those will be next transfers project.

After all of the work we did trying to figure out companionships for this transfer, we didn't get it quite right. We did pretty darn well, but they threw a bunch of loops in that we weren't suspecting. We thought they'd try to space out the "old people" (apparantely that's me now…) and the "new people" (who are only one transfer behind me) more than they did. Every single Sister in the mission has a new companion this transfer. But, as it works out, guess who's coming to the River? Sister Rios! Crazy crazy. (For those of you who don't know, she was my MTC companion.) It's weird that we're already back together, but I'm excited to be on equal playing ground. Now we can revolutionize! I'm excited for what's in store. I'm practicing pretending like I know what's going on with everything. I usually rely on Sis. Clove to remember things, like people's names and details of conversations…so I hope Sister Rios has been brushing up on her memory. Mine doesn't seem to retain that kind of information…

I guess there's not really any eventful stories for the week. It's been pretty normal, yet more random than normal. We've had both lunch and dinner appointments pretty much everyday this week so that everyone can have their final meal with Sis. Clove. I don't think I've ever been hungry this whole week…(other than breakfast maybe…), and our entire refrigerator is filled with Styrofoam boxes.

That's gonna be it for this week. I've got lots to do...
Love ya all,
Sister Salisbury
