A) Drumming
My dad grew up playing drums but we haven't had a drum set in the house until last December. Since then, my entire basement has transformed into a drum studio. Not only do we have the set, but a conga & tumba, quads, extra bass and snares, and an antique dummer-boy style trio in addition to the newly-acquired sets of bells, marimba and a vibraphone (neither of which are particularly small).
It does though, give me a few more opportunities to take pictures. Here's a few of my faves

a snare duet with my bro McKay and my dad.
probably the blurriest of the bunch I took this day, but i think it's got character
although cluttered, this photo helped me establish a more personal relationship with the set.probably because i had to crawl over and under all kinds of equipment to get to where i was when i took this.
i think my brothers cute when he plays. especially because he kept stopping everytime he heard me walk in the room.due to the headphones, sometimes i could get pretty far.
(my favorite part of this photo, actually, are the pink frilly curtains accompanying the background)

when it's flying solo.
it looks so peaceful.
B) Back in July I went to my friend Phil Broadbent's wedding in Provo. I hitched a ride up with some friends Phil Harrison, Jimmy. Since Phil was a groomsman, we had to be there the whole day, so, we took our own pics while the wedding party did the same in the other room.

Phil was bummed cuz he had to get a tux but only got to be in one picture.
Kinda pointless, we thought, but then this resulted
Classic, isn't it?

Jimmy helped complete the shot.
Pretty sure they did the posing all themselves..
